NONSTICK MATRIX BANDS PREVENT COMPOSITE STICKING
A thin non-stick coating over stainless steel reduces bonding agent sticking by 92%

Modern bonding agents can do more than bond composite to tooth structure. They can also stick to the matrix band, often making them very difficult to remove. Slick Bands™ from Garrison Dental Solutions prevents this by applying a micro-thin coating to their popular stainless steel matrix bands. Testing of more than 20 leading bonding agents shows a 92% average reduction in composite sticking to the matrix band. Developed as an improvement to the popular Composi-Tight 3D Sectional Matrix System, Slick Bands™ are also available in a Tofflemire version in .0014" dead soft and regular hardnesses.

The non-stick coating on Slick Bands makes the easier to insert interproximally on conservative preps and at .0015" thick still ensures a tight contact. High contrast colors help to visualize preparation margins, and color coding makes identification and ordering easy.
