Garrison Dental Solutions announces the release of a new contoured sectional matrix band with a sub-gingival extension. Dubbed the Extended Small Band, this product is an enhancement to the award-winning Composi-Tight® Sectional Matrix System. The Composi-Tight system now boasts 5 matrix band sizes offering dentists the most extensive range of sectional bands available for achieving tight, anatomical posterior composite restorations. The extremely thin band (.0012") is designed to restore the proximal anatomy of bicuspids and molars. It features a cervical extension allowing for easy placement of the band past the cervical margin without interference from the buccal and lingual gingiva. When using this band in conjunction with the Composi-Tight system's patented G-Ring's, tight contacts are easy to achieve.
