A revolution has begun.
![]() The key to this performance isn't a coarser diamond, but an instrument where more crystals are actually doing the work. Other diamonds are created with processes that generate unavoidable high and low crystals along the abrasive head. The high crystals prevent the lower crystals from ever helping with the cutting. And the situation only gets worse with coarser crystals. The instrument may cut fast at first but can slow down quickly as the high crystals become dull. With Garrison's G-Force, uniformly-sized crystals are brazed onto the head in an even layer, in an optimally spaced pattern. This means no high spots and more crystals contacting the tooth surface with each revolution. The enhanced crystal spacing exposes more of the abrasive edge of each crystal while improving debris removal. Which, of course, means a faster, smoother cut. The Difference The Garrison G-Force doesn't just look different than other diamonds. It performs differently, because it's made differently. G-Force diamonds use an all new patent pending technology, resulting in a number of unique features that you won't find on any other dental diamond. Optimal Crystal Spacing. One look at the Garrison G-Force, and you'll see the difference. Our proprietary method of applying crystals results in improved space between diamond crystals. Crystals on a G-Force diamond are optimally positioned to prevent the high spots that plague previous generation dental diamonds. ![]() Crystal Spacing Uniform Crystal Size. We use diamonds that are more uniform in height, depth, and width, and apply them in a very uniform layer. This eliminates high crystals, allowing more crystals to share in the cutting load. G-Force also uses a smaller crystal size than other gross reduction diamonds, resulting in a much smoother surface finish. If you finish your crown preparations with a finer grit diamond, G-Force can eliminate this extra step. ![]() Uniform Crystal Proprietary Brazing Process. G-Force diamonds use an exclusive brazing process to bond crystals to the shank of the diamond bur, rather than trapping diamonds the way electroplating does. This process results in more exposure of each crystal's cutting surfaces, for a faster-cutting, longer-lasting diamond. ![]() Brazing Enhanced Concentricity. Other diamonds have high spots or clumps of crystals that result in "chatter." Our exclusive manufacturing process more evenly distributes crystals that are uniform in size. This results in a more perfectly balanced diamond and a smoother cut. ![]() Level Cutting Surface Cuts Faster. The unique design of Garrison's G-Force diamond results in more crystals touching the tooth surface, removing more tooth material with each rotation of the instrument.
Lasts Longer. Other diamonds have clusters and high spots that concentrate the cutting load in a small area while other crystals don't even reach the tooth surface. Naturally, the cutting area dulls faster, and shortens diamond life. G-Force evenly distributes the cutting load for longer diamond life and a greater number of fast, reliable cuts. the spiral groove.
Less Build-up. A diamond can't cut if its crystals are caked with tooth material. Some diamonds feature spiral grooves to carry away waste. Unfortunately, the closely packed crystals on the cutting surface can trap waste before it reaches those grooves. G-Force has MORE space between crystals. Water and tooth material are flushed easily between crystals, reducing build-up.
Better Feel. Other diamonds have high spots that create a less concentric instrument, leading to chattering and vibration. The Garrison G-Force diamond travels smoothly with no chatter or bounce, and requires less pressure to produce a fast, smooth cut. The result is a smooth-feeling cut that is difficult to describe, but which you will notice immediately when you try G-Force diamonds.
