G-Rings® (Gold)

The new Gold G-Rings are the most recent version of sectional matrix retainer rings by Garrison Dental Solutions. Carefully re-designed using the input of doctors, the new rings improve the results of posterior composite restorations.

2x stronger than our original G-Rings, the Gold Rings are stronger for outstanding separation
More resilient to retain strength and last longer
Made of polished stainless steel, G-Rings can be autoclaved for repeated use.
Two tine lengths: Standard length is used for class II restorations; Long length is used for larger molars, and allows for overlay of rings for MOD and multiple tooth restorations.
Patented burnished ends grip teeth at the gum line, keeping rings securely in place

Sectional Matrix Bands are contoured in 3 dimensions to provide an accurate contact at the tooth's natural height of contour. The band thickness is .0012" (30 µm).

"The Skippy Special" 1. Two sizes of Condensers There are a couple of special features built into them. Note the very slightly rounded tips. This shape optimizes the ‘tamping’ ability of the tip without simply poking holes in the composite.

2. ‘Contact Formers’ Most of the time a contact former is not required, but if spring back on the band occurs, you can hold the band over without fear of being “locked” in the composite.
