This important and timely 2-hour webinar will help dental professionals understand their legal and ethical responsibilities when it comes to recognizing and reporting suspected cases of child abuse. Dr. James Frizzell will guide participants through real-world cases, providing clear instruction on how to distinguish between accidental and non-accidental injuries—both extra-orally and intra-orally. Attendees will also gain insight into RCDSO regulations, how to write effective reports, what to do if faced with a complaint, and how to identify patterned injuries.

Your Instructor:
Dr. James Frizzell is a dentist in Niagara Falls, Ontario, with a DDS from the University of Toronto, and a background in forensic dentistry from McGill University. He owns and operates Frizzell Dental, where he provides general, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry. Beyond his private practice, Dr. Frizzell is also involved in forensic odontology, working with Surete du Quebec's forensic team on cases involving child abuse, elder abuse, and human trafficking. He is also a military veteran, having served eight years in the Canadian Armed Forces Dental Corps. He can be reached at jamesfrizzell983@gmail.com
