Deep Margin Elevation for the General Dentist – 3/11/26
Deep margin elevation is not required for every restoration—but when applied in the right situations, it can dramatically enhance restorative efficiency, predictability, and longevity. This course introduces general dentists to a practical, clinically grounded approach to DME that elevates both workflow and final outcomes.
We’ll review when DME provides the greatest benefit, how to manage the unique challenges of deep Class II preparations, and step by step techniques for achieving reliable isolation, ideal matrix adaptation, and controlled contouring of subgingival restorations.
