This page is a dedicated resource to answer common questions about the Anterior Matrix Kit. The kit is designed to help clinicians achieve predictable results and enhance the workflow of anterior restorations. We will continue to update this page based on feedback from clinicians participating in the field evaluation.

Anterior Matrix Kit Overview
No single matrix solution is ideal for every anterior restoration. Some procedures benefit from the flexibility and simplicity of mylar strips, while larger or deeper restorations often require greater structure and support to maintain anatomy and contact formation (i.e. lingual wall and interproximal shell). Class V restorations introduce additional challenges related to gingival adaptation and access, while preparation of proximal lesions may require protection of adjacent teeth.
The Anterior Matrix Kit provides a comprehensive collection of Garrison solutions designed to address any anterior restoration a clinician will encounter.

A+ Wedge™
The A+ Wedge™ is designed to naturally contour to interproximal anatomy of each tooth, providing separation and matrix stability. In addition, the A+ Wedges™ are coated with aluminum sulfate which creates an astringent effect on the gingiva. This wedge offers an effective solution in the anterior where bleeding and crevicular fluids need to be contained.
BlueView™ Cervical
The BlueView™ Cervical is designed specifically for Class V cervical restorations. The array of cervical shapes adapt to the anatomy of each tooth for improved contours. The BV™ Cervical allows the dentist to firmly compact the composite into the prep area with tight contacts. Unlike free handing, the even and direct pressure created by the BV™ Cervical prevents voids and produces a high-end gloss finish. Additionally, the Blue View™ tint offers curability through the cervical surface, creating a fast and effective solution for your Class V restorations.
FenderWedge®
FenderWedge® provides both interproximal tooth separation and protection during tooth preparation. The wedge creates separation while the tooth is being prepared and the fender protects the adjacent tooth from any inadvertent contact from the bur.
Fusion™ Anterior Bands
Fusion™ Anterior Bands feature an ultra-thin, rigid stainless-steel design that maintains its shape during placement and composite compression. The design of the Fusion Anterior band is optimal for interproximal edges with straighter autonomy.
The pre-contoured matrix provides natural facial-lingual and gingival-incisal curvature while promoting tight, accurate interproximal contacts. Its firm structure and ability to extend into the sulcus make it particularly effective for larger and deeper Class III and Class IV restorations where traditional strips may deform.
3D Fusion™ Firm Matrix Band
3D Fusion™ Firm Bands provide enhanced rigidity to maintain an ideal interproximal contour during matrix placement and composite packing. The firm band design is effective for anterior restorations when flipped vertically along the interproximal edge and inserted into the gingiva. The thin and curved anatomy of the band makes it optimal for restorations with greater interproximal convexity and emergence profile.
BlueView™ VariStrip™
BlueView™ VariStrip is a thin, transparent anterior matrix strip designed to create smooth contours and natural interproximal anatomy while maintaining excellent visibility throughout the procedure. Its flexible design adapts easily around anterior teeth, making it a simple and efficient solution for Class III and Class IV restorations where contact formation and esthetics are critical.
