• The thicker short tip is placed horizontally on the margin of the prepared cavity so that the edge of the tip remains on the original enamel, determining the right amount of transparent composite to apply
• Results in the final aesthetic restoration consisting of correctly calibrated opaque and translucent composites, preventing the unpleasant grey effect of the composites
