Dr. Selene Raso focuses on rehabilitation and multidisciplinary digital treatment planning, with particular attention to the integration of orthodontics, adhesive prosthodontics, and restorative dentistry. She carries out her clinical activity in collaboration with the team of Dr. Renato Cocconi, within a highly specialized orthodontic environment.
She is the founder of Pink Adhesive, a project dedicated to education, connection, and professional growth among female dentists. She is also an active member of Think Adhesive.
She graduated in Dentistry in July 2020 from the Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Viseu. During her university years, she attended courses and congresses organized by both the university and the Portuguese Dental Association, developing an early interest in interdisciplinary dentistry. As part of her academic clinical activity, she contributed to scientific research by presenting a clinical case on crown lengthening using diode laser and piezoelectric surgery at the 39th Annual Meeting of the Sociedade Portuguesa de Estomatologia e Medicina Dentária (Porto, 2019), as well as research on drug-induced gingival enlargement at the annual meeting of the Sociedade Portuguesa de Periodontologia e Implantes (Aveiro, 2021).
After graduation, she pursued advanced training in restorative dentistry, orthodontics, and oral surgery, attending programs such as Think Adhesive, the FACE program on the Straight-Wire technique, soft tissue surgery and implantology courses with Dr. Stefano Parma Benfenati, the international course in implantology and oral surgery at the University of Innsbruck, a postgraduate program in oral surgery in Cuba, a master’s program in aligner orthodontics with Drs. Castroflorio and Garino, and Aligners XP, focused on digital treatment planning and aligner biomechanics.
Alongside her dental career, she was a nationally recognized athlete in competitive dance, representing Italy in international competitions. She won the gold medal at the 2015 IDO World Championships, reached the world semifinals in 2017 and 2018, earned multiple Italian National Championship (FIDS) titles, and achieved several regional victories.
In 2018, she received honorary citizenship from the Municipality of Cittanova, her hometown.
